Dear Mr. King,

I am a psychologist and director of a citizens group called Texans For Safe Education (TFSE). TFSE is dedicated to challenging the ever-increasing role of psychiatry, especially psychiatric drugs, in the schools. We consider the drugging of literaly millions of Unite States school age children to be the most clear and present danger to our children. These drugs are dangerous and highly suppressive of our youth.

I am wriitng you just now to express my sadness and regret that you are defending another dangerous and suppressive practice, which is to hit our children. HItting children is so harmful and so unneccessary, and so damaging of their character. I am so sorry that you feel it is important to defend such violence even as the world slowly moves forward to more respectful ways of supporting young people.

So I am sad that you are not able to delight in our young people and have a peaceful, respectful relationship with children.

And I am angry that, in your need to defend child abuse, You attack my friend, Norm Lee, who is a true lifelong child advocate. You would do much better to thank him and to learn from him.

May your eyes be opened to the wonder of our children and to the ways of loving and supporting them without violence.
